Best BR in US to grind tanks?

I want it to be fun, but I also want to be able to make progress. For American tanks, what BR and tanks at said BR are the best?

I think 5.0 maybe or 5.3, you have the M4E3 sherman and the first cancer tank, the M18.

Most popular is probably AB 4.7 with M4A3E2, M18 and M6A1 (or with Cobra King). Jumbo is crazy OP when downtiered and just plows through everything if the player is half-decent.
That lineup alone will easily grind you to the end of tier 4 / beginning of tier 5, especially if you have the Cobra King.

That's perfect, I'm all done with Rank III and about to unlock the 76mm Jumbo.
