Bay open / bay closed [bombers]

Hi.

I am just flying a bomber, and next to the amount of bombs number is something like " bay closed " as soon as I click space, it opens up, when I click space again, I drop a bomb.

Can somebody explain what this is supposed to be? Why is it there now? Can I drop all bombs at once with some button?

I don't get it.

PS: How do I close the bay, or does it close itself ?

Did you get the settings correct …?
I only saw the brits Hudson shows the bayclose/open on the indicater ...
But when i set a little , bombs can drop all at once...

How can I drop them all at once ?

you can set a key to open/close the bombay

if the bombay is open you can drop bombs as fast as you can hit the dropbomb key, if the bay isnt open then the first press of the drop bomb key will instead open the bombay and cause a delay before you can start dropping

To me it's fine if space which I drop the bombs with ,is also the key to open to bomb bay, it's handy!

But why don't all bombers have this yet ?

i believe all bombers do, its just that some bombers and attackers carry bombs on external hardpoints and thus have no bay to open. and still others have a mix of some in bombbays and some on external hardpoints in which case the external bombs should drop first, then the bay open, then the internal bombs drop (i think)

So When you do .
Open the bay . Drop the bombs.
3bombs once ,drop 3 times .and all bombs away..
That works for me...
U can try it , cant promise work for all bombers

Aircraft control
Find the Drop bomb series
Assign the button
Pick a bomber
Go in game
Hold the button
Bomb drop continuously....

If I want to drop bombs continuously, I can just click the space button.

I won't to know how to drop ALL bombs at once.

In the same keyboard config options for bomb bay door operation, there's a bind for bombs where you can set a key that you can simply hold down and it drops all bombs rapidly.

So in effect, what it does it it drops, say, 8 bombs like rapid fire if you hold that key down, much faster than the game can register you smashing your spacebar. so yes, it's worded not quite accurately; you don't press and all bombs drop immediately, but it's like holding down the trigger on a full automatic weapon rather than pulling the trigger as fast as possible on a semi-auto.

example: mine is set to keypad number 5. I hold it down, and 8 bombs will drop 12345678 as opposed to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
