the zoom thing where crosshairs are, its hard to see planes through it, like if plane is close it looks far away, if plane is far away it looks close

Well unless you're in Sim battles; if it bugs you so much then don't use it. Go 3rd person.

By zoom glass I think you mean the scope. That's what scopes do, they're binoculars for guns.

Also what results said, just don't use it unless you're in sim. How does one use it? The moment you're on an emey's tail and you're trying to shoot their engines or rear gunner is an example

You have to use the ZOOM IN button and the default key for it is the "Z" key.

Once you've figured it out, It should look like this[i.imgur.com] like a sniper scope.

There are other methods to an alternative solution. There's a leaning option in the controls and all you need to do is to lean forward! Upon doing it, this is what is gonna look like[i.imgur.com].

It will literally give you a tunnel vision because you are using a scope. You are supposed to quick scope with that thing.

Quick scoping is not that easy especially when the aircraft's flight vibration is messing up your aim.

Sorry but I'm not a Simulator Battle expert regarding about the control settings/schemes. I'm afraid that I can't help you there along with the new update that changed the controls.

Researching about it might give you an insight.
Other terms/synonyms for your "ZOOM GLASS"
  • Telescopic sight
  • Scope sight
  • Iron sight

It has something to do with the zoom settings and leaning (leaning your pilot forward or backward).

There's a way to zoom closer towards the scope without having tunnel visioned. Its up to you to find out since I forgot how to do it.

Like I've said, the control scheme/settings/layout changed with the recent update so its kinda hard to find especially for other SB players.

Honestly I dislike the telescopic sight because it moves too much and sesibility is a lot, I prefer the reticles you get in the mid-WW2 planes [or even early ones] such as Ki-43-III Hayabusa.
