PzGr 39 or PzGr.?
Which shell is better? The PzGr. is the new shell for the Tiger H1, Tiger E and the Japanese Tiger.

I now take a mix of both. PzGr 39 has more penetration, but PzGr drops around 20mm pen for a great 160g of explosive filler compared to the 64g for the PzGr 39.

It's more down to personal choice and what you are facing. Though I still use PzGr 39 more. PzGr can help with things like a Churchill when you can only get a shot into the turret or other tanks that have spread out crews.
