i always watch replays before i do something about em
and if i was right i report them
Do not forget: on some maps like on Poland...there are some ways to fire through walls. No hack invovled. Got destroyed in such manner but also destroyed an enemy later on by just putting fire through a house :D Could not repeat that...but it seems to me that there are some guys outta there who remember such flaws in maps.
Btw...avoiding hackers? not possible but keep reporting them!
Aye, same same.
But just a few hours ago there was an update regarding illegal third party apps: https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/294145-illegal-3rd-party-application-update/&do=findComment&comment=6641275
32 accounts perma banned for unfair play.
So people who say Gaijin doesn't do anything about it or care about it are just wrong.
I encountered only one hacker I know of so far.
I was standing behind a hill, and then this Russian T-34-85 shot me from above, you could literally see via killcam, how the bullet came flying and then made a turn towards your turret.
This was a hack, clearly.
But this is the only time I can really remember it, I have played games with a serious hacker issue, such as Warface.
That's an odd one. I know the killcam only shows a basic representation of what happened and therefore will only show a straight/direct path of the shell. That is why a lot of people claim hacks when they see a shot go through a hill on replay, but in reality the shell dropped. Do you have this one on a replay file or recorded?
The T-34-85 was about 50 meters away from me, and the hill was high enough to cover my turret completely, such a drop would not have been possible in this situation. In fact, he killed several other tanks standing next to me within a short period of time, also " from the sky ". Either he was an extremely good player who was also very very lucky and knew how to break the laws of physic, or he was a hacker. Never seen or had something like this before.
I do not have this on replay. And the shot did not go through the hill, from what the cam said, the shot was flying avoe the hill, and then made a 90 degree turn towards my tank 1 meter above my turret. And as I've said, the hill covered me up very well.
Well, I ended up reporting the guy for cheating, never encountered anything like it ever again.
then if gaijin really do ban hackers why do hackers still exist ((sometimes))
i mean are they work harder to get the game still being playful or just keep banning hackers all year ?
or there were no hack as mods say and its all about luck ?...i am confused
Because new hackers appear, and some of them might create new accounts, use VPN etc etc.
Well, you can't just do one sweep and be done with cheaters once and for all; there will always be those who seek unfair advantages. And anti-cheat systems aren't 100% either.
But like I mentioned above I have never in my entire 3 years of playing this game witnessed an incident that had me yell 'hacks!". They are out there, I know, but the numbers are very few. When someone calls out hacks chances are you were just unlucky.
