B-25 has a huge weak spot. The tail. One or two bullets will crit the tail giving you a guarenteed kill. Just fly about 2km under them, until you are ahead of them by a bit. Then fly straight up and aim for the tail. They will have a very hard time hitting you and you'll get an ez kill.

I don't engage bombers until they turn as it's very difficult for them to get a shot on me with their gunners, and they present the entire broadside of their wing making for an easy shot.

Try taking rockets and rocketing them.

didn't know that ty, I always try and get underneath it (to turrets there) but usually I try to hit one of the wings

Turrets will have a very hard time hitting you if you're coming from the side and up...and yes, the tail is a huge weakspot because the aero-foils are very loosly attached, meaning they come off easily...

I used to fly the B-25 a lot, and that happened to me all the time. There was one time that I managed to land and repair though using only my flaps to control the pitch of my plane. It was epic.
Best way to attack bombers, is to pass and shoot their cockpit!

Not unless you are already going for a head on. The cockpit is unreliable, as most have more than one pilot.

Best to just BnZ it and use a cannon. Don't follow it, driving behind it is just asking to get manual gunned down.I can manual gun pretty damn well with US not because they are OP but they are so damn hard to master crews for b17 I paid cash to train the crews just to get the right gunner count trained for them figured while I was doing it putt little extra in and maxed out their precision, and accuracry bet even with that maxed out, and crew experted your bette off manually firing and any one who is dumb enough to follow instead of hit and run a dual .50 cal bomber is asking to get some crits landed on them.

Look up bomber attack manuals and videos, there are tons of them out there. Aside from that I'll just say be patient, get some altitude and speed, then dive on the bomber and make swipes. Don't try to follow or anything like that. Works wonders against B-17s, 29s, and 24s with my D-13.

Their gunners are DEFINITELY not OP. They are at the right level. It is the gunners on other bombers that are too weak.

Don't agree? Then engage other fighters instead of chasing those bombers.

What's that? You don't like that other fighters can actually fight back and *gasp* kill you? You wanted to chase bombers that can do nothing at all except to die to you without any risk to you? OMG those gunners are SO OP!

I'm talking like this because fighters DO have a choice how they can get their points. Most bombers do not (those like the B7A2 have a choice as they can actually fight back). As I have tried to complete all bombers up to Tier 4 I have experienced an OVERHARVESTING of bombers before they can reach their target to get any points at all. Dive to the target and die before reaching it, or try to actually be patient and circle around in an overly restrictive "LEAVING THE BATTLEFIELD" maps and you're still chased and hunted down before reaching the target.

I remember the days when bombers were tougher to bring down, and I actually found that more fun in AB as a pilot. You couldn't kill three bombers without needing to return to base to repair a red/smoking/leaking plane... the game felt more real that way. When it all changed to being able to pop 20 bombers in an AB match without needing to RTB, I lost interest and stopped killing them, only killing one occasionally when the situation really warranted it.

I think it's less that they are OP and more that there are a bunch of them.

American bombers tend to have fewer gunners facing the bottom sides of the aircraft most of the time it's just one, never come in from above on american bombers cause they will rip you a new one. Also don;t take Zero's against them unless you know what you are doing/ get incredibly lucky.

Zeros are like flying balls of gasoline vapor. One spark and they're a ball of fire.

That is how almost all bombers are, Brits don't even have belly gunners the tail and front can aim down but that is it, I never seen one with more then one belly gunner, just you get one belly and a turret that cane aim down well on the tiale if your lucky.

And top guns on most are bad, like the brits no .50 but my new shiny halifax if you come from up top you got 8 7.6 barrels firing at you. Same thing with a lot of others like my Yers and Ki-49, you come from above on those you get tail gunner with .50 cals, and the back gunner wit ha 20mm cannon with air belts firing on you. While the belly if has a gun at all is machine gun with poor cover notmsly they guy is laying down on the floor with very limited firing angles.

That is my fave in any bombers, I see JPN in realstic two things happen, I go "♥♥♥♥ an island map with a bomber, damn you MM," then I swap ammo belts to universal and go "please send my turrets zeros to set on fire to make up for this crappy map." My record was 5 kills I took out most the enemy team in the early b17E/L model. Was last one on my team alive they had zeros come in one at time so I throttled down and set them on fire WEPed it away and watched them fall apart in mid air from the fire damage. Only lost becuase they had the JPN rocket sled some how he was there, and he waited every one died and just BnZ ed me with that Ki-200 this was a while back when it was lower BR, and I think guy probaly was in que for 10 minutes to get tossed into a br 5.3 match lol
