What is " stealth " ammo for?
I just don't fully get the point of it...what exactly is it for?

Their tracers are not visible.

No matter which mode you play in, you see the effect as the one being shot with stealth rounds. Since you cannot see the rounds zipping past your craft, you can only tell you're being shot at from the sounds hitting your back.

And by that point you're usually crit/dead.

They don't have tracers, that's what stealth ammo is all about.

its often the best mix of actually damaging rounds as oposed to mixing in tracers/imediate action incendiaries which are less damaging, but requires the most skill to use, you cant see where your bullets are going but neither can your oponent, and particularly in sim where you dont get markers for enemies and have to do all the spotting yourself, they can give a few seconds advantage against an unaware enemy as they dont see the tracers going past them they only realise they are under fire when the bullets start hitting

So it is as I thought!

Thank you.

I find them super effective not only as they improve your aim, and deal more damage than other rounds, but especialy in big acrade brawls your enemy will have no idea what hit them. Work very well with the tempest mk v, as you can spray at long range (with good long range guns and lots of ammo) without them having a clue what's happening until you score a hit.
