Before that day I never realised that 20 minutes could be wasted by both teams looking for each other, and another 20 minutes for the remaining players to look for each other again. In the end it was an uptiered Stuka on our team which won the match for us.
yeah I can't even imagine the map at night....at that point I think you would just have to call a truce and meet in the middle 4 grid squares or something haha
Even if it wasn't that size, the triangular layout is still good because it doesn't force bombers and attackers to head-on the bulk of the enemy fighters.
you're right they'd rather make a thread and complain about real battle flight time
With that said, I love the map, it actually lets all aircraft play to their strengths.
As for Jets, this is exactly the map we need. Or I guess you prefer the Mozdok Phonebooth.
This isn't the only map that we've had in rotation that is relatively huge. It's just that recently they had redid how the map roations work, so we're not seeing 30 battles of Norway in a row, or 30 battles of Korea and the like.
