Flight controls feel wrong with mouse joystick mode.
I'm currently using the mouse-joystick mode, because I do not like the plastic feel of my computer joystick.

There seems to be some sort of AUTO-LEVELING function, where when you return the virtual joystick to its center position, the aircraft immediately levels itself. This is not at all how it functions in the real thing. You should be able to roll the plane to 60 degrees AOB, center the stick and it will stay at 60 degrees angle of bank. Is there something in the options menu that I am missing?

This AUTO-LEVELING function you're talking about is the auto rolling function that levels your plane to its horizontal state. The game itself has an INSTRUCTOR that does the AUTO-LEVELING function and there's no way to disable it even by buying yourself a flightstick or turning off the instructor in your settings.

The game itself is really meant to be played that way so it'll be easier to control the plane. If you want to fly the plane the way you mentioned, you have to maintain the angle or position of the plane constantly.

Therefore the answer you are looking for do not exist.

Damn. Are devs ever planning to have an option to turn this off completely? Why have an arcade flight sim/game with detailed working cockpits if the plane can't even be controlled properly...

Heck they even did propeller pitch and trim.

Its because of the instructor system, to turn it off just change your settings to " full realistic control" and u should be able to fly like u want

As above, it's completely possible to do, he'll, I can fly inverted on mouse aim with no problems last I tried (bar float carburettor failure)

I have it on full realistic and still there is an invisible system that rights the aircraft
