As a T28 Driver the most effective way to kill a T28 if you're attacking from the front is to destroy/damage the Barrel and optionally go for one of the track next then proceed to flank its side or just set its engine on fire until it run out of fire extinguisher.
A T28 can be easily overwhelmed (if it's alone) by multiple enemy due to it's 20-15 second reload time and if you can charge it with some teammates from multiple direction it won't be able to do much about it.
If you're engaging it frontally face to face from a distance of 1km or higher.. just don't bother.. this is pretty much what I do when I play as the T28 I snipe enemy from a distance and they can't do much about it even if they did hit my cupola (Extremely rare) my crew would probably be just slightly wounded and annoyed.
It has a maximum speed of 12km/h and slow turning speed (higher if I reverse to turn).
Also if you keep shooting at me from the front and it richochet or doesn't penetrate you're just going to end up giving me more Spawn Points.
