The big advantage of the Sturer Emil (over the Nashorn) is, that he has a very good gun depression.
That means that you can leave the bulk of your vehicle behind a hill and still be able to fire an enemies on the other side of the hill (while wih the Nashorn you have to climb more to the top of the hill in order to give off a shot, leaving you rather exposed)
Sturer Emil has the benefit of gun depression but it's also slow and clumsy.
If you play RB then sure I would research the Waffle but when you mostly play AB then I would just go for Tiger H1, Tiger E and Panther D and start researching Jagdpanther to go with Tiger II P.
