why usa 12,7mm (50 cal) perform so well in their planes? Brits struggle for get a kill, only ♥♥♥ or italy got good 12mm but not as good as usa

Allied bias, 50 cals are better than a 20mm cannon at the moment.

Nah 20mms work great. Even better now that the hit registration tweaks dropped.
That's my guess as to why .50cals seem to be doing well too, high fire rate + improved hits = more damage as more bullets hit home.

Plus when Italian aircraft dropped 12.7mm and under got a tweak so that they do more accurate amounts of damage to aircraft parts, which caused them to perform better.

There not. Most us planes have 6 but some have 8. Twice the amount as 20mm and both do well. 50cals should be this good. A burst of them is a few kgs of lead flying your way. The reason why Britain struggles at LT is because of 7.7mm they just suck even when you have 12. Don't do that much damage

not so much that the 50 cals are overperforming. rather, everything else is underperforming

P-47 is a crazy clubbing machine, everything literally disintegrates after a good burst. I also made a K-4 explode after a single burst with my B17 50cals. They're among the best guns in the game, that's for sure.

That's just sparking, client says hit but server says no hit, has nothing to do with how effective the 20 cal is, when server says its hitting the enemy dies.

Is it really just sparking when only cannons spark? I've never had a spark with 50 cals, and from the sound of it other people agree as well. Like this comment:

Your video is sparking and what makes it worse its from the rear of the plane.

I get lots of sparking with all caliber because I play with 280-350 ping, it veries from game to game server to server.

The only cannons I see that really perform terrible are 37ml they are hopeless and have been this way for a long while.

When both hit clean 20 cal are better killers than 50 cal from what Im getting every game I get a lot more crits and assists from 50 cal, I average 5-12 kills per match and fly a lot of 20 cal and also 50 cal fighters.

If you're playing on 280-350 ping, you can of course expect sparks. But as someone who normally has low ping, cannons, notably hispanos, spark like no tomorrow. Like you said though, it's the same with the big cannons, I usually shoot someone with my 9T and get a 'hit'.

Lol what are our u talking about? I usually main my p-51, you have to really take advantage of the fantastic ballistics of the50, and just snipe at guys. They do good damage but nothing devestating. Meanwhile, in my 190a5, I just tapped my mouse 1 key 3 times and turned 2 spits and a mustang into dust. 59’s are good and have their place, and are certainly not op.

They were alwasy OP in my opinion even before they were buffed. I often referred to them as American Laser Rifles, always burning everything they even touch. lol
