i think there's an uninstall app for war thunder in the folder, if there isn't, just do the windows uninstallation thing

Mhhh..nope. it s not so simple. I dont have the program from window, and as well there is any uninstall app from the main folder. Im starting to worry about...cause i've read some strange things about ganjii client.
Like this one in reddit:
"It is essentially malware. It installs without being given permission to do so, cannot be uninstalled from programs/features, embeds itself in multiple separate locations, reactivates itself even if you manually deactivate it, reinstalls itself if you delete it. Oh and it acts as a torrent seeder for other people updating the game, thus using YOUR bandwidth so that gaijin can get their client updated for free
Only way to permanently remove it is to delete it, uninstall warthunder, go to regedit, and delete all registry entries pointing at gaijin.net agent.
It is not only under your warthunnder folder, but also under %APPDATA%/local/gaijin

i would like remove every traces from my computer. delete the main folder is not enough....

gaijin agent isnt malware... its just a simple updater, its installed seperatly to warthunder because its not exclusive to it, similar to UPlay for ubisoft games or Origin for EA it manages all gaijin games so removing one will not remove it and it needs to be done seperatly. the malware line is blatent misinformation and it is easy to get rid of... perhaps not as easy as it should be not having an unistaller but still not hard

The whole bs about the "malware" is just the gaijin update auto loader. It runs by itself to detect updates and downloads them. Pretty sure its reinstalled by the launcher if its deleted. Where all it is i dont know, but i can tell you were it is located for me. Im using WIN10 and the warthunder folder is located in

C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\WarThunder

There you will find the warthunder uninstall file.

Next the agent (the "malware" )is located in

C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Gaijin\Program Files (x86)\NetAgent

But you can go ahead and just Delete the C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Gaijin folder

Uh,this is a long page for an uninstalling issue...
thank you anyway for the answer :)
but I remain very doubtful cause if i follow the last link, into the Ganjii support they only tell you

"Deselect “Autoupdate” in Launcher Settings in War Thunder and the app will be instantly disabled. "

but they do not mention the traces on your system...is it a sort of lie from game detractors? but then why the procedure is so complicated? :/

unfortunatly i dont use the steam version, i have the standalone from 2013, so icant say whats what with that. Id image you can just uninstall right from your steam library, but youll probably still have to delete the agent as well

there is no 'steam version' which is why people get confused when they cant uninstall it through steam, all steam does is launch the non steam version

I prefer to avoid aggressive programs like iobit unistaller that fills the pc with useless and invasive applications. Do u know what is creppy for me? That even with my professional version of RevoUnistaller I cannot detect Ganji Client.
I frankly dont like this ganji policy that seems to do everything to hide the traces of his own client, I'm afraid many users are not well aware of the operation of this program. It s the first time i have so many trouble with uninstaller program. I still didnt delete the many folders cause from the phone is impossible but i m already sure this wont be an easy task...
