PB4Y-2 is bad..

At the BR of 5.7 it's compared to the other bombers like it, such as the B17E/L and the B-24.

It's less durable than the B17.
It's way slower than the B17 and the B24.
(Infact it's barely faster than the Catalina PBY, a 2.0 with only 400lbs less of starting payload LOL)

-It's starting payload of 2000lbs is pretty bad, cannot take out a base with it.
-It's got decent gunner coverage all around, but if the tail gunner is shot there's no rear coverage -AT ALL. It's also very easy to take out the waist gunners when shooting from behind because of cross fire.
-It can't fly without a wing tip, stabilizer, etc.
-It takes a good 10+ seconds to restart the engine, you need to do this quite often since a couple of bullets will make the engines start cooking. You will lose about 190 alt during this time.
-It's so slow, that it cannot take off from any carrier or airfield in the game(RB of course), when you land and resupply the aircraft, it puts you into an air spawn.
--This is something that annoys me, since historically it's a naval plane and would need to take off from sea port fields and airfields and carriers.

and I just had a Yak-3P ram my wing, which caused me to crash, however the Yak-3P flew away fine, a single engine fighter plane(although since it's russian...) was completely unscathed.

all usaaf bombers can not take out as base in one attack. you need attacj several times not like germaon bombers
