Lot of people don't like using attackers in air RB, but I've found that if you wait for a dogfight to start and stay out of sight, fighters become focused on each other giving plenty of time to get attack runs in and make it back to base.
but the fighter go, ooooh jelly filled doughnut!
The cannons can put up a good fight though if you can get the shot. AD-2 feels very sluggish to me.
mostly because the plane is actually super sluggish
