T29 is better at 6.7 and downteirs where armour still matters and its lack of mobility or postwar amunition types arnt an issue against similar tanks
I start the match with my m46 to go fast capping zones and make a few kills then i use my m60s to finish the match.
I have matches that i survive with my m46 until the end, since it has heafts now it can be competitive at all levels i think also the m62shot its amazing to flank and oneshot kills.
Anything with more than 200mm can pen the IS-6.
The M46 does have the ability perform better no matter the game BR since it uses HEATFS, so youll be able to deal damage no matter what, but dont expect to bounce anything. The T29 can murder anything besides a T54/IS3/4 on the battlefield, so the list of tanks it has issues against is too short for me to care much about it.
For what its worth, i have a 1.07KD in the M46 and nearly a 2.0 (1.86) in the T29, although KD is a questionable metric in this game.
If you like fast, go M46, if you like slowish and steady but a great gun, go T29
