What happen to its m3 50 cals? i vividly remember that it has the m3

It happened in 2015 I think. Nobody really noticed it because the plane is has always been somewhat irrelavent since the F8F-1B exists.

Yeah it really is pretty bad. Even in arcade where it is 4.7 it is horribly outgunned while only having a small mobility advantage.

On the other hand, it fights early jets, which are fragile anyway, and the p80 only gets M2s as well. I found that loading tracers would set most people on fire even with the low fire rate of the outdated .50s.

Why are people angry about this? It was given the gun models is actually had, that isn't an imagined nerf... It's a correction of an error.

M2s last way longer than M3s anyway, if you have trigger discipline, it's actually a benefit to the plane.

M2s are rubbish compared to M3s.

Bearcat used M2 machine guns in the initial production run, but were retrofitted with M3 machine guns during Korea.
Gaijin changed it a couple years ago

imo the M3s should've been an modification you can unlock, working the same way some of the bf109 can swap out their propellor hub cannons

It isnt a problem with ammunition, it is that the guns do not feel strong enough. Having four wing mounted M2s is just not enough firepower to be able to reliably kill someone apart from incredibly fragile planes. This is made especially clear compared to planes at its tier such as the Fw-190 D-12/13, Spitfire Mk 22/24, Tempest, Ki-84 Otsu, Yak-9UT and many more.

I definitely think the bearcat should get an M3 modification, since it has less firepower than a P-40 (tier 2) and is in tier 4.

Like I said before, it depends on if you count the belts. The late Tracer and Stealth belts for the M2s have much, much more incendiary capabilities than the old machine guns in the P40s.
