Punished for not using Backup vehicles

Is there a reason that other Vehicles get locked out If I don't use my Back up vehicles in RB? Is there a way to disable or delete backup vehicles because its getting annoying that I don't go out with my 2nd aa back up after being spawn camped then I get a 6minute lockout on 4 of my vehicles

i try to burn through the Back ups nowadays even at the loss of the vehicle... since Gaijin does not want to fix this issue

I wish they also fix this issue as well. There's no reason for us to get a crew lock just for not using the backup vehicle!

I havent got the crewlock for not using backups, i get a popup similar to the crew lock popup, but it is different.
Just the 'warning, you still have available tanks' or whatever pops up. Not the one that says you will get a crew lock.

Any specifics in your situation? is it arcade tanks and you only brought in 1-2 vehicles and have a backup? Did you die extremely early in the match and have a backup?

I know certain issues with crew lock, like bringing a plane into tank RB and dying too quick with it and then no spawn points, that plane will get a crew lock since it thinks you just suicided it to get out of game.
But i havent got a crew lock for not using backups. I save them for games i know they will make a difference in.

Are you sure you are getting a crew lock, or are you just seeing the popup and thinking its the same crew lock popup. Ive got A popup, but its different.
Just warning you that you do have available options if you choose to. That one i never get crew lock with. I havent got the crew lock popup in RB tanks when i dont use backups.

No, I know what a crew lock is and I'm not that stupid.

IF you got a lot of kills and got a lot of points to spare with but you chose NOT to respawn and leave the match, you'll get crew locks for those vehicles you didn't used to respawn including those backup vehicles.

Ive left matches plenty of times in that situation. If theres 3 ppl left on our team in planes and half the enemy or more alive im not using my backup regardless on my spawn points, i havent been locked for it. Maybe post as bug report in official forums coz im pretty sure that shouldnt be happening.

You get crew locked if you leave a match before the 6-7 minute mark passes and you still have ANY spawns available to you. I regulary get crew locked, because I refuse to spawn in when the spawn is getting camped hard and I refuse to throw myself in as a cheap kill for a camper, so I will take the lock and either change nations forabit or just alt-tab and watch/read summin online till the lock ends. It is a stupid feature that punishes players who have bad match even more, typical Gaijin 2bh.
