Worth it to play as a true F2P?

I don't plan on buying any vehicles or Eagles, so is it worth it to play this game without spending a single penny and still have a fun time/unlock most of he planes and tanks?

You could very well play for free, even unlock everything, but it would be a very long process. Playing for free and sticking around tier 3 or maybe 4 would be very viable though.

You'll just have to invest something to advance, either more time and no money or some time and money, it's a choice to make. And if you want to get to tier 5, you'll need a lot of time whether you spend money or not.

Personally I'm running a premium account almost since I started, I'm fine with that.

JETS aren't worth it

I've only been playing a while. I have a premium account so I've unlocked a jet. There are a lot of posts about T-2 and T-3 being where all the fun is. Couldn't agree more. My most enjoyable games are running T-2. Jets play so .... different. I suppose as I practice more I might enjoy it more, but longer Q times, more "zoom and boom" and kinda lame dogfighting. If you want to never spend a penny, find a faction that you like their T-2 and T-3 planes (I play Italian, T-2 fighters are thin right now, but T-3 and T-4 are rich with great fighters) It won't take you long to unlock and fully upgrade a nice set of T-2 aircraft. Relax and enjoy. I know you want jets, but seriously bro, other than being a completionist... not really worth it.

+1. Not worth spending money because the game is most fun at T2-3. Playing T4 consistently gets pretty frustrating.

If you only going for Tier 4 i say it's Easy - Hard

you can have fun for free but passing the levels and unlocking the vehicles will take years of your life and therefore the game is not fun.

It depends on what you play for. For me i love ww2 aviation and my favorite planes are tier 4 and under so its not a big deal. Some play the game like the whole purpose is to unlock everything or get to top tier jets / tanks if thats you its gonna be ruff. But my 5 favorite planes are the p40 Bf109F La 5 P47 and P38 i have all of them and thats all i really fly. For me the fun is improving my skill as a pilot and getting really good at my favorite planes and if thats you then itll never get boring.

You could buy 24h of premium and power grind for the day. Can make a lot of progress for a small cost.

It’ll take you ~a year if you want a rank V aircraft or something, but considering low ranks are the fun ranks, yes. Of course opinion may vary, but low tier usually is the most balanced and fun, realistic, etc.
