Indien Panzer, the 6.7 medium tank that Germany needs?

After the Panther II got its BR adjusted the 6.7 German lineup went extinct, right now they only have the Tiger II H and that's all, the other ones are premium tanks, so what about adding the Indien Panzer? It's basically a Panther II but with worse armor.

If I'm not mistaken some prototypes were built.

I don't think they were. My understanding is that they never left the drawing board.

It's a bit weird, but why not the Swiss Panzer 58 instead? It's essentially the Indien Panzer, except it existed. 90mm gun, pretty quick and okay armour although not for a 6.7. Only thing is it's not German, so I dunno.

Well if the Germans helped building it then I see no reason why not.

Well if the Germans helped building it then I see no reason why not.

Looking into it a bit more I think the gun is actually the same on the Ru 251, which means it'll have HEAT-FS and probably end up at 7.0 like the Japanese Type 61. It did have an option to mount a 20 pounder though, so maybe that'd be a better choice for 6.7.
