how does the game matchmake, and how do they matchmake when your in a squad.

The RNG gods create a "server" for you and your friends to play on by nerfing the m3 lee. It hasn't happened yet so you will not get put into a game for the next three years.

It's different for tanks/planes. With tanks you're matched on your highest BR vehicle, in planes you're matched on the average of your top three vehicles (to a minimum of 0.3 below your highest). In squads you always get into matches based on the highest BR player.

When you enter a match there is always a maximum range of 1.0 BR between the top and bottom. So if you take a 5.0 setup, you might get into a 5.0-6.0 match, a 4.0-5.0, or anything in between.
