How in the hell do I use this tank? I've only played a few games in it and it's abysmal. The gun seems to be extremely inaccurate and game after game I'm uptiered against T-54s, which I cannot penetrate whatsoever frontally as I've only got the stock APCBC shells.

The few kills I have in this tank are seemingly from luck, as the majority of the time I just die before I even hit something.

I really want to like the Caernarvon, I think it's a good looking tank, but I just can't get anything out of it.

yeah the british tanks are TERRIBLE, they only get good when EVERY module is unlocked, after that you're gonna have a blast with its APDS rounds andd bouncy armor.

i thought the british apcbc doesnt bounce ?? i have only been using the solid shot though for my british tanks since the apcbc doesnt do as much fragmentation it seems

So essentially either...
Pay money to buy the modules (not gonna do)
Endure a horrific stock grind of horrificness (not happening)
Don't play British tanks (doing)

The Crusader Mk III still is, and probably always will be my favourite British tank (although I swear the reverse rate was nerfed).

Sounds about right. Stock grind for Brits at 6.7 is terrible and you may have to suffer and Brit tanks are not all that great at Tier V anyway. Centurion Mk.10 is decent (good when downtiered or top BR) and the Chieftain is nice with the gun (but horribly slow).

I did not think anybody else loved the Crusader Mk III, but I guess I was wrong!
