Fields of Normandy...

I swear i play this map like 60% of my time playing ground battles. Is it just me or does everyone else also get into this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and boring map?

I dont get why. There is sooo many better maps. But no, fields of normandy all day long.

I get it quite a bit, but I am fine with it. I used to spend A LOT of time on maps just like it (but far larger) in the Darkest Hour mod for RO1. To me, it's a reminder of the good times hiding in a Marder III M in the bushes with the engine off waiting for British and American tanks to pass so I could take them out with ease.

Only in WT, I can't turn the engine off and I am hiding in Japanese tanks. I personally find the map to be great and one of the few I can play over and over at almost any BR. You can snipe, hide, flank, zip across open areas, take advantage in low or high ground, or try to hide in one of the small villages

I totally understand you! I used to play like that on the map before AND i really liked it. But now when i get to play it waay to often, it's just become boring and destroyed. I get so excited when i finally gets to play another map so i just rush in and die haha.

Cant get why it has to be in map rotation so much

There is I believe, you can key-bind it. For me, it is the I-key.

I like the normal verison of the map when it first came out but I hate the fields verison.

gaijin was extremely lazy, the premise is that you hide behind a bush and the enemy hides behind a bush and wait till one gets bored enough to run out and die

the map mix I've been getting the last month has been fairly broad, sometimes there's a run of 5 or 6 out of 10 games being the same map, but overall the mix stays failry balanced.
