T26E1-1 armor problems.[Possibly rant.]

So what is happening to T26E1-1 spaced armor? It can't help you against ANY kind of shells at all. And you getting destroyed by IS6, Tiger II and many more every time. The only 2 things I found about it is. 1. APCHE is great. 2. Traverse speed is great. Still can't do ♥♥♥♥ against IS 6 and Tiger II...Can you guys considered lower it BR to 6.5? It might be better because of it ♥♥♥♥ inaccurate armor... and gun that can't pen IS 6 and Tiger II at all.... AND WHY THE HELL YOU LOWER THE FRONT DOWN!? It's make T26E1-1 vulnereble... you lower the front down.. the easier to pen.. Gaijin seriously PLEASE DO SOMETHING. I WASTE ALOT OF MONEY JUST TO GET THIS TANK AND I'M ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PISSED OFF.

The spaced armor on the fronto of the hull is Boiler plate.
Heavy, but not as strong as rolled armor.

So if your tank is tipping forward, then that's a realistic/historical part of the vehicle thanks to how front heavy it became.

the spaced armour is just structural steel and its effective thickness is less than the actual thickness due to the negitive modfier structural steel gets

theoretically it should pretty much invalidate HEAT shells but not many tanks it meets use them, the ASU 85, m46, ru251 and a couple of the US lights are all that come to mind. also HESH but they are even rarer. in practice im not sure how well this actually works though

All you meet is Tiger II or IS 6.. or RU 251. I'm playing on RB and having problems facing most of them.

And I think the spaced armor should atleast help reduced the kinetic energy of the shells.. just like Jumbo. It can eat 88mm round with ease.

My KwK.43 rips straight through the front of a Jumbo.
Don't confuse the 88mm KwK.36 (Tiger 1) and 88mm KwK.43 (Tiger II), the two are very different.

I personally reckon the Super Pershing could be a 6.3, mainly because 6.7 has seen some massive power creep recently.

That's a myth. Spaced armour like that on the Super Pershing or tracks on the Tiger II only increase the effectiveness of HEAT based rounds, not stop them. It should only be stopping HESH, which only the Ru 251 and Type 60 have at 6.7.

Tracks push standoff into optimal ranges; true spaced armor disrupts the jet by increasing it beyond optimal ranges. However the issue with the pershing is not the spaced armor; as mentioned boiler plates are less effective than RHA or CHA. Along with the majority of enemies having 200mm+ pen HEAT at that BR; meaning if the armor was corrected it still would not provide immunity to later HEAT shells.

Its these little things that make me wonder how much of a nightmare composites will be once implemented.....

6.5 isn't a real battle-rating. The battle-rating's only increment in .3s ands .7s so the lowest it can go is 6.3.

Well a big issue for the Super Pershing is the Tiger II, and how you define WWII tank varies a little.
By some peoples definition the IS-3 is a WWII tank, as is the Centurion, some people count the T-44 as a WWII tank, others do not. ETC.

Well a big issue for the Super Pershing is the Tiger II, and how you define WWII tank varies a little.
By some peoples definition the IS-3 is a WWII tank, as is the Centurion, some people count the T-44 as a WWII tank, others do not. ETC.

Ahh I see. But hey another big issue for Super Pershing is IS6 as well.

Super Pershing have 2 spaced armor added. It should lower the shell penerations?

It should increase the armour of the tank, which it does. But it doesn't do it by much, because as mentioned they're only made out of structural steel which is a lot weaker than proper armoured (only 0.65RHAe if I recall correctly).

Then is nothing but a clunk of metals that just make the tank tipping forward and doesn't help anything? I got shot in the mantlet by T-34-57mod 1943 ........ Did Gaijin know how the spaced armor works? Or if they're right they should lower the BR to 6.3. It getting killed every single time.
