Sr-71!?

Since, apparently, rank 10 is going to be a thing, I have always requested that they add a rank 10 with an SR-71.
I know, it has no armaments, but it was made in 1964 and would be great with a new spot enemy system.

Nothing could really catch it, I doubt it would be fun to play more then once. Also, I doubt rank IX is coming.

A-12 would be a better option.

ask for the YF-12 instead. it was the prototype interceptor based on the a-12, same as the sr71.

honestly though there are better aircraft for the job, the a12 family would be poor operating at low altitudes or confined maps campared to something less flashy

Don't count on these modern planes and tanks to be implemented. I will say the same thing I said to a user on War Thunder live. As much as I want there modern vehicles too, it is not confirmed, the only things confirmed are the these that were tested during april fools. Those were ERA and Smoke Grenades.

As said about rank 10 (being a joke and it was rank 9, IX) being an April fools joke, the SR-71 would not fit even then as it was only a reconnaissance aircraft designed to do nothing other then take pictures of their enemies (usually the Soviets) and had no defensive or offensive weapons. Plus, what would catch it at Mach 3+ and 85,000 feet in the air?
