Post Here If Your Gaijin.Net Account Got Hacked Recently
Been seeing a few scattered posts on here and the official forums by people in the same situation as me, seems like a bunch of hackers decided to break into some accounts recently. Fortunately, we have the new system that automatically notifies us if a person logs into our account from a new location. I received over 100 of these emails (not exaggerating) with locations all over the world over the course of a few hours.

Personally, I'm not too fussed because I didn't have much progress in the game, but I imagine a good amount of people are affected, possibly those with hundreds of hours put into the game and so I was hoping to make this issue more visible for the devs and anyone affected.

Obviously if you're affected, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD (hackers can't do this without access to your account's email) and enable Two Factor Authorization (requires a cellphone) if possible.

And if you are affected, please post here so we can properly show the scale of the hacking/problem.

I got one that someone logged in from Melbourne. Changed the password, will see if it happens again.

Same here, a guy from Russia, in a city called Voronezh... real scary ♥♥♥♥. put 2step verification and changed password..

I got about 13 emails this morning, people from multiple locations signed into my account. There's a lot from China, but there's some from Brazil, US, UK, Korea and EU. I can't remember when I last played this game but it was quite long ago and I don't think I had much progress so I really don't care about the account, but this certainly looks like a data breach.

I have seen several posts such as this lately. I am wondering if the people with this issue use Steam log in or strictly manual log in?

EDIT: I am also curious if anyone with this issue has used one of those "free" GE software/phone apps.

I've had the app for about 2 years and I've yet to have any issues with my account.

The same discussion was posted here. I've asked an admin about it. Please, if you see similar threads with the same issue posted not three hours before yours, don't create more and more threads on the same topic... That is just spam and makes the problem harder to figure out.
