Flight control like in Battlefield?

The mouse control of planes isn't bad (very noob friendly) but i would like to control the aircraft more directly with the mouse like in the Battlefield games.

I already tried simplified flight controls where the mouse controls the plane directly but the sensitivity even on max is so low you have to drag your mouse one time around the globe to make it turn.

Does anybody know how to set up the options properly?

God I struggle with this so much. I just want the damn camera to actually follow the plane and not sway like a drunk. I've got everything set up the best I can to have something similar, but as you say on simple flight controls the planes are so unresponsive.
Not only this, but the keyboard doesn't overrule the mouse, and "invert y axis" only effects the keys.

Changing the Mouse DPI works for me.

Also, before it went haywire (after almost 20 years of service) I really liked using a trackball when I was playing with Simplified controls. Now I use HOTAS when I want to "really fly", which eliminates all these issues with mouse-joystick.

Yeah, having a mouse with adjustable DPI would help, especially if you can set a button to switch between DPI settings. Higher DPI means you have to move the mouse less for a greater result, which sounds like it’d solve your problem.
