go with germany as bomber hunter
The US has tons of them.
The FW series was not optimized for high altitudes until the addition of the DB601 varients; your short stubby wings and lack of multiple-stage superchargers will cripple you at extreme altitude.
The FW 190 is mid-alt at best, while the Me 410 and Do 335 are upper-mid, but still mid.
They operate at nowhere near the altitude of the P-47 and P-38.
He was specifically talking about the FW series; the komet is tricky to use outside of arcade because 8 minutes of fuel. The me410s need several minutes to sideclimb in rb; when it comes to a plane that can takeoff, climb and reach critical alt. The "dora's" are it. The 335s I have little experience with so il reserve judgement; ditto for the 262s.
Meanwhile America has Merlin p51s; Turbocharged P47s among other things. Brits have the spitfires and hurricanes. Even if they can't kill bombers; they can kill the interceptors.
