Arcade Mode with Joystick

I am very happy to show you guys a solution to play the arcade mode with a joystick. I wrote a guide on that topic. It works very well. Enjoy.

Why do u want to play arcade with a joystick and not moving to simulation battles , which in my opinion is a better idea?????

Hey,

no I want the fast paced short action combined with my joystick. I don't want to fly the realistic battles or simulation battles.

I've searched for a solution to combine both. There are many youtube videos explaining how to set up the joystick for arcade battles but they all don't work very well. Arcade mode is nomally not made for using a joystick.

Btw I am using the joystick and an oculus rift in arcade battles and it's a blast.

If its good for u its fine, and yeah i guess AB is more "instant action" but if u want someday realism in an arcade way i recommend u to play SB but its just your choice xD

Yes why not. Maybe I will start someday with realistic or simulation battles. Who knows. But now I want just short dogfights. And I wanted to share this stuff with you guys.

I promise it is functioning so great, really well..... Since I am flying with the mouseemulation i can hit everything.

Even u can use the joystick in AB i dont think u will be that precise shooting planes in comparison with a mouse but maybe with practice u can do it. Just my personal view.

Im a SB player i think u can play AB or RB with joystick but u will be i a clear disadvantage against other players, thats why i say it will be better to go to SB to have balance in the gameplay but u can play RB with joy cuz its totally playable, not AB IMO

No. then try it. It's very precise and the feeling ist great. Test it first please before speculating something.

I will, just to see if its 100% playable and maybe it helps for SB
