OP T34-85

Consistently goes through the front armour of my US heavy tanks (M6A1, 4.7BR. M4A3E2, 5.0BR) when its angled. It's fast, its armour is okay and it isn't a tank destroyer. This is with non-AP rounds (usually a APC of some sort) and get 1 shot.
This also happens to other tanks like the KV-1B (5.0BR).

This would be understandable from a tank destroyer, but it is a medium tank

I'd suggest decreasing the armour penetration for non-AP rounds, or increasing the BR. Not much difference between the D5T either, just the 1.2s faster reload. 5.0 and 5.3 are too low for this tank

Almost every tank in the game can be penetrated frontally by tanks around the same BR. I do have to agree that the T-34/85 should go to 5.7 and the D5T to 5.3 though.

Easy Eight and M6 are both supposedly heavily armoured at the front. m6 lacks at the sides and back to compensate

Edit: I'm not sure because of the lack of difference that they should have separate battle ratings. I haven't used them but looking at the stats alone the only difference is a different gun that makes reload 1.2s faster (by default, not sure of potential with crew level) so i would say 5.7 for both

The M6 is quite poor as most tanks it faces can knock it out frontally as it only has 82mm on the front hull and roughly 100mm with the turret mantlets. It will not stop much, it's huge, and the 76mm is ok which is why it is generally regarded as one of the worst US heavies (most in general are not that great for the US).

The Jumbo is ok and can bounce some shots, but you still have a weak MG hull mount and ok lower glacis. The gun on the other hand won't do much either. You are better off using the M18 and M4A2 (76) W together. They may be heavy tanks, but they are quite poor heavies compared to similar BR heavies of the other nations.

Neither of those tanks have enough armor to defeat the Soviet 85mm even when angled. Remember this was the gun designed to kill Tiger tanks. Armour is pretty useless in War Thunder. So long as you have enough to stop 50cal rounds it's all about who fires first (and hits properly) really.

Also the Jumbo isn't the Easy Eight. The Jumbo is the M4A3E2, the Easy Eight is the M4A3E8 (hence, Easy Eight).

The M18 is powerful but made of paper and is open topped. It's also a tank destroyer designed to take out tanks, not go into general combat

Gun made to kill Tigers were 122 and 100mm, the T-34-85 was fielded by the end of the war when germany was constantly loosing ground

Yes its 2017 and the T-34 still OP doing one hits and players got the most kills in team with this tank! It is my experience with about 140 of battles and everyone that says it is not true is a liar and defend this.
