Need tips on using ZSU-37

I have been using the ZSU-37 as an AA but didnts success. Its fire hate is dam low but its good againts light armored tank especially against M18. Its very hard to shoot down a plane even if it is close, i compensate alot for the bullet drop wich for me is quite alot, and i aim very far from the target(planes) or else it wont hit the plane at all.
The only planes i kill is most of the time is going on dive in me but not all planes do that for obvious reasons.

Any hint or tip is very welcome. *(if you want to leave a opinion about the ZSU-37 comment about it)

yeah its ammo belt is good but its quite boring since the motor of this tank is basically 2 water filters

it's an easy plane target. So you'll have to use it as both an aa and td otherwise while in td mode you'll be caught off guard.

edit: by off guard I mean fighters will shoot up your entire crew and because you're aa, they'll be targetting you first.

and that why you wanna be steatlhy with it... stop moving might help when a plane is near by, unless they are ULQ or you are at an expossed area (fields with almost no trees)...

they dont have any between 4.7 and 7.7,there is a huge gap.

it's not that bad, yes the ROF is awful but it simply takes 1 hit to take out the aircraft.

it needs a huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of skill to hit a bullet in a plane with zsu-37 but its insta kill garanted in some planes depending on the ammo ( like you cant take down a bomber with only one explosive bullet but you can break its wing with amor piercing bullet and cause much more damage than explosive ones, i only use explosive to small planes)

no it doesn't, if I can do it then anyone can.

The best way to do it is to get into a custom match where there's many ppl flying and just shoot everyone until you get the hang of it.

holy damm, i swear i use almost all my belts shooting to planes but i cant hit them in RB. The problem is when i get to a realistic custom battle it still have that crosshair appearing sometimes when you shoot the plane wich is annoying and i can disable the hud but that would be confusing since i cant see who is friend or enemy . So you learned how to use perfectly the zsu-37 in realistic custom battle? if so i will start training on it.

Would any of you believe me if I told Im better at taking down planes with it at RB than AB?
Its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ absurd but fo every plane I shoot down at AB I already blowed 5 at RB, guess the marker tends to confuse me, the same is happening with AB planes, I no longer aim at the very center of the lead indicator, it always as a small offset, the same with ATGMs...

edit: with the SPAA in question... I'd say like Persident, its due to the ROF but once you hit the target is no more, other SPAA with high ROF do lots of sparks, like the german ones...

indeed, and the next one up the zsu 57-2 isn't any better in ROF compared to something like the kugel or the coelian.

However both do excellent jobs at playing both SPAA and SPTD lol
