How to Do a Banzai Charge right.
So I was wondering. What tanks in War Thunder are good for the tactic of a Banzai Charge. It doesn't have to be a Japanese tank. And I'm aware that doing a Banzai Charge is generally a bad idea. But if I wanted to make it work. What would you recommend?

its called a kamikaze not a banzai charge

banzai charges were the suicidal bayonet attacks carried out by imperial japanese forces in ww2
kamikaze was the ramming of planes/ probably tanks into crucial enemy positions

All kamikaze attacks that I know of. Use Explosives to commit suicide against a target or groups of Targets. So my term of banzai charges is the right one. You charge in to melee range. And fight there. And don't blow your self up. And as far as I know of. The Japanese never used Tanks or trucks for a kamikaze run. But I could be wong on that one. My point is. What tanks are Good for the Tactic of a Mass or solo banzai charge.

Edit:
If I said I wanted to do a Cavalry charge, would that make more sense? It pretty much is the same thing. If your using tanks.

I have had luck using the t-50 and then bt-7 for banzais because they generally have enough speed that enemies can't get a good shot off and end up missing, allowing you to stop and get a good shot, at least for the t-50, the bt-7 you should just run through the enemies and not look back

That's some interesting choice. I'll have to give them a try some time for this Tactic.

Can you or anyone else, recommend some Mediums or heavies? Or some tanks from other factions? To go along with these options.

For me. I find that Heavy tanks tend to do well for this tactic, Even if they don't go fast. They can generally stay in melee far longer then, Lights for example. I guess it is equivalent to a Knight in close quarters. He tends to do well. Once he's in melee range.

When I first played War Thunder, I found quite a bit of success Using Banzai Charges with the; Pz.II C, Pz.II F and the Pz.II DAK. They seem to be quite agile. or at least agile enough for the task. And their Cannon is an Automatic with enough in their small Clip to do a real number on any target.

You stand no chance with a heavy believe me. First of all pretty much every tank can be killed from the front if you know where to shoot. Second you are most of the time pretty slow on the move so the enemy has time to maneuver and possibly flank you. And if all things fail and the player you want to rush is smart he just shoots your tracks and you will sit there waiting for a repair giving the enemy plenty of time to kill you.

if you want a fast tank you can try the Cromwell or M18 Hellcat

Fair points. though I met few players that Target my tacks. as far as I can tell. Though I do tend to shoot back when being attacked. So if they can shoot at me. I generally can get a shot at him before I get killed. Though it does depend on the tank. Some fair far better in a frontal attack then others. While other's can handle being flanked relatively easy. But I do agree with you on being slow can do a number on your Tank.
