Alright, HOW do I respawn?

I feel like an idiot. I ask in game chat, I Google it, I search these forums. I can't find the answer.

After my vehicle is destroyed, what button do I push to respawn? I've asked in EIGHT battles and no one answers. HOW do I respawn?? Please.

Well, if you are playing Realistic air battles, you can't respawn.

Try an Arcade battle, then you can always respawn atleast twice per battle and you can see how to do it.

If you're allowed to, it should be extremely obvious - you'll have a display of your vehicles and a big red button.

If you don't have that, the reason you don't see a way to respawn is that you're not allowed to.

Ohhhh I get it now. I was just never playing well enough to earn a respawn, so the button only ever said "Return to garage", but if you get enough kills it says "Respawn" instead.

That is VERY VERY unintuitive, and it needs to be made more clear. But alright. I'm having fun now. I'm even getting 1st place on my team a lot now!

Yeah first place! About 4 times so far.

...Not that hard to believe, is it? I'm confused by this game's interface, but that doesn't mean I can't move and shoot with some skill after I figure out what the buttons do.

Sim is like the good old RB medium tanks/SPAA/TD = 2 spawns Heavy tanks =1 spawn

I really want to try non-arcade mode, but at BR 1, it doesn't seem to work. I wait and wait and never get into a game.

But ... talking about me not sucking. I just got SIXTEEN kills (and 3 assists) in a completely STOCK M3 Stuart. No upgrades.

And my very next game, I got 13 kills!

I don't give a crap if you don't care! I'm having so much fun. This game is way better than WoT, even though it's far less polished. This will improve. The damage model is already much better and intuitive (no silly hitpoints), the engagement distances are greater and maps don't all have that claustrophobic 3-corridor design plus the tank physics and destructible environments are so much cooler! I've been playing WoT for 7 years, but I think I'm done for good!

Sad_Dude ... you need patience! You've got to position yourself in places they don't expect. If you're dying so quickly with no kills, it's because you're just directly rushing in. I like to take my time and flank. I like to score a single critical, then reposition - never let them adjust their fire to my position. Always surprise them.

I just did another game with 8 kills!

All my years of fighting in cramped WoT maps seems to be helping me greatly here! This is awesome!

Yo, i got 17 kill streak wth pure american BR.3 tanks on normandy. Jokes on you.

I'm not rushing in though, I'll give you an example of the most recent one

I hold back and wait for them to push in, one tank shows up, I hit him 3 times, he is still alive

he hits me once and I die instantly
repeat

also it seems 100% of the time anything shoots at me my gunner dies, no matter what, and it's pissing me off. not to mention being able to shoot your MG and an enemy gunner in one of those trucks 5+ times and the gunner just ignores it and kills me

Ye it takes while to get an actual good us tank, but when you get tanks such as M4,Jumbo,M10,M18 they are really fun to play.
