As for OP, they are old sounds and I don't think they have ever been updated. Best you can do for now is sound mods. I do believe they plan to update many old sounds at some point, but it's not high on the priority list.
Kubinka Tank Museum, Russia.
both of these places dont spike the guns or perform any de activation, in reality the biggest reason museums dont fire the guns is because ordanance from the period is unstable due to age, and valueable due to rarity, stockpiled shells from the military tend to be disposed of in a safe manner at the end of the safe life of the propellant.
also you don't risk a simple misfire or breach explosion on a 70 year old tank just to record the noise it makes.
Most countries force privately owned tanks to have deactivated guns, but most Museums keep the tanks in the condition they recieve them or over time restore the tanks.
oh and a sub note where do you want the noise from inside the turret or outside the tank where you are makes the sound different.
Gaijin could listen and examine all sounds carefully, and recreate them using Foley.
It's suprisingly easy to do.
I am not sure if we can call it a fix thou...
