Why are tigers named tiger? They don't look like a real tiger
This is the closest thing that I found to a tiger tank.

It's part of the same tree as the tiger but it's not even the same thing.

And you call this game a simulator...:steamfacepalm:

I'm very disapointed

150mm gun.........lol. That would be badass though because 128mm Pak43/KwK 44 already brought fear to Allies tanks.

You are correct, the original design was for a 128mm gun, but when Hitler saw the 128mm PaK 44 on the Maus, he felt that the 128 looked like a toy gun compared to the tank and asked to have it replaced by a 150mm gun. It never had time to make it to production.
Citation please? I am interested because the only tank I have heard of being planned to recieve a 150mm gun would be the E-100.

The E-100 was fitted with a 149mm and 75mm gun.

Hitler did like his tanks pretty big, a bit more reading and found that some drawings and designs were submitted for the 1000 Ratte.

Wow!
1000 tons with 2 x 280mm main guns, 1 x 128mm secondary, 8 x 20mm Flak38 and 2 x 15mm MG......it was never produce. Than they came up with another concept, the 1500 Monster self-propelled siege gun.

He wanted one produced by 1942, but cooler heads prevailed. Hitler was a crazy one.

there's lots of sites of how hitler likes it big ;)

Many of his insane ideas were shot down by other brass.
The funny part in all of this is that hitler didn't about them in the first place, it took quite a while before he directed a lot of funding towards tanks to begin with.

the germans did( and stil do) name vehicles after their functions
for example tiger(animal) as it is a predator and the tiger(tank) because it well is a lethal predator
another one wiesel(animal) as it is small and nimble wiesel2(tank) because it also is a fast and nimble scout vehicle
And the maus is just like a mouse?

Look mate, I'm going to petition for the tiger to be given a tail and tiger ears as well as whiskers because this is unnaceptable.
and theres the goliath.
a tiny machine for special forces.

Centurion doesn't look like a Roman officer, either. And I'm pretty sure the American generals looked nothing like the tanks...

the maus was named this way to trick the enemy inteligences into think its like a light tank or scout and not a superheavy tank

Not too sure about that, sounds like an assumption to me. If enemy intelligence would get hands on a name, they will get hands on blueprints.

The Maus was named Maus, because Germans are well comfortable using sarcasm. And naming something like the Maus, a Maus, is pretty much as sarcastic as it gets.

I strongly doubt that they have named it Maus, just to confuse the enemy. In fact, enemy intelligence would not have based anything on the name of a vehicle, if they would want to confuse it, they would have called it " Maus, Leichter Schuetzenpanzer " or something like this. Everything else is just based on assumptions.
funnily enough it did trick the enemys at first because they gave the tanks names like tiger wiesel and then mouse? also intelligence does not necessary mean blueprints.

they decoded the german messages to find out stuff about the enemies and be honest:

if you just hear the words:
Mouse, tiger, panther.

what would you say is the most dangerious?
