so in the hanger i can rotate the damage moddle to view the armor stats but i cant see the armor on the bottem of the tank
p.s. this DOES matter to me AND is important and would like to not have to go to world of tanks to get a damage moddle of the BOTTEM of the tank

Sorry but for practical play, it doesn't matter. Even when I used the 122mm HE shell to blow up tanks from the bottom, it's an incredibly rare situation. Don't worry about it too much.

Good rule of thumb is, whatever HE you're firing, check your opponent's hull armor on top. It's usually the same on the bottom.

150mm and 152mm often have enough pen to destroy an enemy tank from below, but the chances are quite rare. If you are firing at least 122mm HE minium, you can aim for the front of a turret to spray it down the hull roof on most tanks or a copula for a spray down into the turret (not as easy though).

A few comments:

1) Most shells, unless 120+mm HE (Or HEP/HESH) are not going to be big enough/contain enough HE content to damage the bottom a vehicle significantly.

2) Most people who are using 120+mm HE/HEP/HESH are going to slam it right into the bottom of your mantlet. Most tanks, the hull roof (Or in some cases, the turret roof) is really quite weedy, and is meant mostly for structural strength, not to defeat incoming shells. It is easier to hit and more reliable than trying to get a shell to detonate below a tank.

3) All tanks I've ever looked at I have been able to see the armor value for the bottom of the tank. It does take some camera manipulation, but it can be done.

4) Not only does this rarely happen, but the tenacity with which you are pursuing/insisting it is important/happens often is leading a lot of us to the conclusion that you're trolling.

If there's a particular vehicle or vehicle you can't figure out how thick the floorplate is, you can ask on the forum, you can ask me, or you can ask google... but most are pretty straight forward to find/see.

quick point not trolling its a stratage i used in wot for a long time and was hoping it would be possable as an 'emergence' tatic and it can be hard to hit the engin deck of taller tanks so i oftern look to the bottem when the shots ive got available arnt an option and i dont normaly look to the turret roof as the shell stats say 100% chance to bounce at XX degres and its normaly larger than the angle imm shooting at the tank

Its an HE shell it doesnt have to penetrate, the fragments do.
When you hit the BOTTOM of the gun mantlet the HE shell EXPLODES not penetrates and sends shell fragments to the turret roof causing damage this isnt WoT.

now disprove my point that shooting the bottom of the gun mantlet is a better idea than shooting the bottom of the tank and you said it was your strategy in WoT but as you can see, no health bars so splash damage doesnt end up in loss of hitpoints it depends on damage to the tank itself.

You have to expose your tank EVEN more to shoot the bottom of the tank.and thick armor means slow traverse so find something you can use as cover and flank him like say a rock or a building.
