Hetzer unlock
I just unlocked tier 3 tanks for germany and I was wondering if i can still buy the hetzer even though i did not research its predesecor the stug IIIg. The game is allowing me to start researching the hetzer, but will i still be able to buy it without unlocking its predescor the stug iiig.

You can research the Hetzer, but you won't be able to buy it.

You will need to unlock and buy the Stug III first.

This is incorrect, the hetzer is in it's own branch meaning that as long as you can research tier 3, you can research AND buy the hetzer without any issue.

Well, maybe that is the case. I would not know since I've had all that unlocked for years.

Well, maybe that is the case. I would not know since I've had all that unlocked for years.

As have I, But in anycase it would be better to hold off posting an answer if you're not sure.

I said such as I have yet to see any vehicle you can purchase without having the previous one first.

If you look at the tech tree's for most countries avation/tanks, some of the branches are broken. You only have to research the previous ones if they have a connecting branch.
