Simulator takeoff
So I'm trying to fly in simulator with full real control, but whenever I try to takeoff my plane rolls over and crash... I'm using a combination of K+stick, the axis are well calibrated, I don't understand why that's happening (I could take off no problem with K+M)

Are you countering the engine torque with your rudder? (And your rudder isn't locked, correct?)

Rudder to the other side of your torque and use the Joystick to not take off too fast or u will stall and crash

compensate the tork of your propeller with rudder and give gas only slow.

BTW : If you try a twin engine plane like BF110, you will not have this problem

1. set throttle to 30%, let it run.
2. set to 70% and start gaining speed.
3. set to max, flaps take off and the plane will start rising.

Remember to use the rudder, that's why it's important to start off slowly.

Depends though, on a plane like the FW190 you literally have to go full WEP and just ride it off the runway, otherwise you'll spin out if you do it slowly.

I'm trying with the yak 1, I counter rudder, but it doesn't seem to work (I set the rudder on the mouse keys if that matters in some way regarding the sensitivity)

Click on relative yaw option and dont keep pressing the button. Idk how to say it but i used to have that problem when i started ( i dont use the keyboard anymore) so I used to press A or D depending on the moment so just spam the button but dont keep pressing haha and if thats not your problem, explain whats exactly. Do u stall or u just crash instantly because u go out of the runway? Are u using flaps?

I managed to takeoff, now I'm learning to fly, but I still have the problem with the plane costantly rolling right. I understand that the propeller pulls the plane in that direction, but it seem that its strenght is way over than it should be, flying is really a pain and if I let the joystick for a split second I find myself rolling and spinning. I guess I have to calibrate the joystick so that when it's in the middle it pulls lightly on the left, but I fear that I might get the opposite problem, with the plane rolling left instead of right.

No, thats normal in SB, specially in the yak because the instructor is off. You may want to trim your plane so it would be easy to u. Dont forget to apply some deadzones and lower your sensitivity to get a better JS control.

Rudder over to counter act engine torque, then once you start lifting, apply a very slight pressure to counter the roll. Keep holding your rudder input until you're definitely airborne. Also, once airborne just apply trim.

how does deadzone work? I'm flying fine right now, but I still have a hard time hitting enemy planes (bot for now) since the aircraft won't stand still, I guess that's normal in SB, but still, maybe there's some other tricks I can pull off with the stick configuration

Lets say that it helps your plane to not bounce too much, u will have almost 100% control of your plane. Just apply 4% of deadzone on the pitch and roll axis and 0% sensitivity. I used to be a noob in WT SB but after that, im able to get 6-7 kills more or less, yesterday I got 13 kills in the same game so as u can see , its just practice and some JS config.

I'll try to play around with the stick configuration a bit then. Yesterday I finally managed to get my first kill, but I'm so bat at aiming... Also, my oil tank gets knocked out EVEY SINGLE FIGHT... seriously, I played like 15 games vs bots, with 3 respawn and every single time (so like 45 times omg) I got hit in the oil tank... is there anything that can be done to limit the damage? Because every time I fight for 2 minutes and then I have to withdraw quickly to the airport because my engine start to overheat and dies due to the oil leak

it depends on the plane u are using. Use 95% throttle with p47, yaks, ki100,and some more...and dont keep using WEP all the time. For the damage, this is SB, u cant do anything about it. Try some SB custom battles against people to keep learning and in your first real try, dont fly something too hight like a yak3p,bf 109 k4 etc, just try some tier 2.
Best planes to start with: p38, he112,p36,spitfires, a6m zeros and some Laggs

I'm playing with a yak 1 (my favourite plane, at least from the ones I have unlocked), I usually set throttle at 80%, 100% and wep only if I need to climb fast for some reason or to run away from a pursuer. The problem is not overheating itself (I'm probably even too cautios with the engine, and never let the water/oil go up the 110 degrees) the problem is the ridicoulus ammount of time I got hit in the oil: could it be from the front, the rear, from above or underneath, I always get hit there. So I don't understand if the Yak 1 has this particular weakness (but I don't think so, because I hed this problem with lag and mig alike) or if I'm just plain unlucky or if it's just that sim works this way.
