(Missions are good for xp and not money).
How do i find easier missions?
(whenever I load a saved game, my mission list is always blank)
But if you cannot take nexus enemies at level 15, you have done something wrong.
Yup suspect that but what? I've backtracted to starter system missions pop ranging from level 16 up to level 25....ouch
Just tried this and new (and better suited missions popped up. Let you know how i get on ty :)
......
(yeah, I kinda over did the "hip" there)
Trinity (except the west most prefecture) will not spawn anything above corvette.
I've annihilated ships that are rated "impossible" or "danger".
Capturing ships with boarding party is the key to making money in this game. Little corvettes are worth at least 250K, all the way up to battleships worth like 2.5 mil. Which means you need to pick a ship with the most marines, not necessarily the most weapons, and load your ship with officers and mods that improve transporter capacity.
Thanks for the advice about capturing ships. I can see i'll be needing plenty of credits heh
So while I do like starting from scratch and working my way up, progress is bottlenecked to small leaps.
What I really wanted was to have the ability to help other stations and companies upgrade their stations, by doing specific missions for them, this would have the effect of increasing their production of resources etc. etc. meaning I could make more $$$. Would have made the universe feel more alive.
So instead I found my own solution. Go to your savegame directory, look for your savegame file, change values in notepad.
Maybe I should just mod the game to my own desires, but I cant really be bothered.
