Fastest way to get defender medals?

Hi guys, I recently came back into the game since 2015, and I want to know what the fastest way to farm defender medals is.

I can clear campaign pretty easily, is campaign the quickest way if i haven't done campaign yet?

What about after campaign?

Dailies. Rerole every low daily quest to get a bigger one.

You only get 5-10 Medals in a normal game. I dont know if you are able to get more of them.

It's disappointing for returning players since when we do campaign mode, we only get about 5 per game whereas my friends who are just starting out get about 500 - 1000 each.

Right now i only have about 2k and my friends who are starting out already have 8k. Will take me forever to unlock a new character...

c1 maps would be fastest i guess, 25 medals for every trials map finished.

Do Chaos 1 maps, pretty easy and you earn 25 each win

^Fastest method as far as I know... unfortunately, it would take 400 map runs to get even one hero using this method. Mix the dailies in some and significant play time still looking at around 10-18 days while not being able to buy shard packs or use medals to upgrade shards/gear (which is practically mandatory because gold is so pathetically slow to earn, actually... it is borderline unusuable as a resource due to how slow it is unless there is some secret trick I have yet to learn to farm gold).

There is a patch coming later on that gives us 4k defender medals

fastest method is Demon's Lair incursion, 3 waves and takes about 4mins max to complete it

but check your amount of medals now! you cant go above 12k. so if you allready have 9 k you only get 3k

Why check it now? you need to "buy" the medals for free anyways, so its not like you will go over 12k unless you're an idiot :P

I think they, as most of the humanity, knows some people have a hard time to do math ... but its not like you have to worry about it before you actually buy it.

all players of everything are idiots.

we will undoubtably see people complain that they got screwed out of medals and that its the devs fault. it happens for everything no matter how dumb it sounds. they are just covering their bases.

i mean we have warning lables not to drink gasoline. humanity can be a tad idiotic sometimes.
