Not starting

Is anyone else having issues with the game running but never going into the actual game?

Have you run ddu and done a clean GPU driver install recently? I dunno what other apps you usually run but hardware monitors can sometimes help tell where the issue is happening even if you can necessarily fix it but if the game is still running (animation at the menus running and no not responding win errors) but not doing anything besides being stuck there... It could be a bug but that would be a pretty huge bug and most likely effect almost everyone...

If I find anything and it hasn't been answered yet I'll post back soon..

I just updated my drivers earlier tonight in preparation for the game. The only thing I have running in the background is my Logitech and iCUE software. I'm currently reinstalling the game and trying to see if that fixes the issue.

Side note my hardware should be fine. I'm using an i9 10900k, 32GB of RAM and a 3080 Ti so I should be good to go hardware wise. If it doesn't boot up after reinstalling I'll just try again tomorrow or something.

i too have rtx 4070 and i9 13980 HX, 16 GB of RAM and it won't start either

Uninstalling and reinstalling worked for me. I'm currently at the Shader compilation screen. I'll update if the game crashes after that.

And my system hung up at 41.07% of the shader compilation. I'm just going to mess with it tomorrow

me too reinstalled and still crashing validated latest drivers im gonna give up and refund

I got it to work by going into the game files and changing the b1.exe compatibility properties to run as administrator by default. Now it loads fine from the Steam launcher. Hope this helps!

Reinstalling the game helped me and everything worked.

I did it and for now the game launch and it install the shaders im waiting to see if the game is working or will i have to refund it

I'm on the steam deck and I just got the something went wrong message. It was working fine earlier today but now it's not.

If you have a 13th or 14th gen intel CPU you should check your mobo manufacturer for a BIOS update. If that doesn't help then your issue is likely different and a Wukong specific problem.
