No, because much like God of War reboot and Ragnarok, they butchered Norse Mythology heavily for their insipid story.

So, no, Kratos (an imaginary figure created by some chump) could not kill Sun Wukong. Since it would just be some heavily corrupted and ruined version, which would not be Sun Wukong in that sense. No more than Odin or Thor are Odin or Thor in the GoW reboot/sequel. They did a total and utter disservice to Norse Mythology and should be shamed for it.

Sun Wukong will still be talked about hundreds of years in the future while Kratos will be forgotten in a generation or two.

Based on the novel, Money King is immortal. and because he ate a lot of Immortal pills of heaven, his body is indestructable. But we are talking about game's lore, then everything depends on the studio.

Right, so if it's a western studio they will appeal to the "Let's kill God" deep ingrained desires they have and have Kratos kill some heavily ruined version of Wukong. Ruining the culture, purposefully, to solidify their culture-destroying ethos.

I mean in this very BMW, Wukong was killed. And i assume in this game (and GOW), the term "immortality" changed to "live long" rather than unkillable.
I suppose if Kratos meets Wukong, the storyline could be Wukong challenges Kratos and then allows Kratos to attack Jade Heaven. Maybe Wukong would join Kratos too.

They would obviously find a way for plot convenience but realistically? Not gonna happen. Sun Wukong has like 6 different kinds of immortality.

Yes, but in a hypothetical western-based GoW with Sun Wukong, it wouldn't just be Kratos killing him. They would tear down the story, the culture, make Wukong look stupid/weak, and Kratos strong/capable. It would be complete bull just to fluff their own pillows.

Until western devs can start respecting culture (that'll be the day) they should stop aping it. I do not trust most any mainstream western developers to honor and respect culture at this time. They just take a dump all over it and tell you it's great.

a whole new genre was made because they 10 out of 10 knocked it outta the park.

Younger Kratos from God of War 3 took down almighty Zeus, the strongest of them all. Soo in that case, perhaps yes.

Actual Thor would obliterate Kratos in a heartbeat.

This would depend on which versions we are talking about. Zeus is a sky-father and is the equal of Odin, Thor's own father. And Odin would beat the jeebus out of Thor in a heartbeat. So naturally, Zeus would win the battle

I'm not talking about Zeus vs. Odin or Thor. I'm talking about Kratos as depicted in the games, especially the reboots vs. Thor as depicted in the Norse Eddas. Thor from the Eddas would destroy Kratos in a second. There wouldn't be a contest.

Likewise, just because I want to throw him into the mix, Cú Chulainn would similarly body Kratos.

Current year Kratos might have a shot at Riddick though.
