Basically the company kept shoving it deeper into their playerbase, and player got fed up, without any platform to review it until now.

Blizzard had many scandals in past so players dont rate their games by same standards like other games.

If you want an honest opinion, here is one.

Overwatch, is not a bad game, infact, it can be enjoyable, I loved it in 2017 and Scored myself to Diamond.
However, Overwatch 2, is by all means, not a great game in it's core, which is driven by greed.
OW2 took alot of steps back and attempted to make a gamble by slapping a number on it and it backfired after the announcement that people who were fans of the series, expecting this big huge promise to now be turned into a Microtransaction and Monitization hell.

So, the game, while has it's strong suits in some cases, has the massive issue of treating the game as a Trial, so you buy the heroes which may be dominant, so you can buy the PvE content which decided to wrongfully break alot of promises to the dedicated base and that you continue to pay.

It's a good game at heart, but not in the core of what drives an audience.
(For the sake, I'm not comparing this to TF2 or Paladins)

It's worse than OG Overwatch 1 in every single way: 5v5 instead of 6v6 matches, removal of plenty features, inability to earn cosmetics (level up boxes) and coins for free (role queues), awful monetization - BPs that don't even give premium currency, the main purpose why OW2 exists - Co-op CAMPAIGN (not overpriced archive mission packs) with hero missions and skill trees - was scrapped and it was known to devs prior to OW2 "release".

So all the negativity is well-deserved by this sham of a company.

they removed the good game (overwatch 1) and replaced it with much worse game

They hate the politic behind the game (they scrapped the pve mainly... I never waited for it so I do'nt care lol) and the microtransactions, not the game itself.
