You can buy most skins with credits

I`m new to the game so I didn`t realise this but you can actually buy most of the Overwatch 1 skins in the heroes skin list with the normal silver coins you get. It will normal show the skin as costing 1000 or more premium gold coins but if you have the equivalent in silver coins you can still buy it.

Thats a bit of a shady move to try an get people to buy premium coins but at least you can unlock them without paying.

That is to earn the gold coins. I`m talking about the silver coins. I`ve only been playing the game for a month now and earned about 2000 silver coins which can also be used to unlock skins.

they colored the silver coins gold on the battlepass when it was first added. trash company trying to be predatory any way they possibly can. They only changed it after getting backlash for being deceptive.

ye I'm not really sure how those silver credits are earned though sometimes i check and realize i got hundreds more from somewhere

Well they started using legacy credit when season 3 started before that all skin has to be unlocked with premium credits, during season 3 they use the same color as the premium credits so its confusing and kinda feels like false marketing

You can get it from free battlepass

You get 150 weekly now from 8 level ups in the "progression" new thingy now as well.
