Overwatch community worse than the company

I don't care what review or rating the game has from users and news outlets and don't care what ♥♥♥♥ they talk in the YouTube videos. I don't care the toxicity in the forum communities. Yes Blizzard did some ♥♥♥♥, but the game itself is still very good to me. I have played the original Overwatch since it came out for 2k hours playtime and stopped playing for years. Just got into the game again with Steam launch.

The real problem is the toxic community in the game. Toxic comments, flames, trolls, afks, leavers. Yelling for mistakes or having a bad play, or just giving others the reason we loose, even those they are the reason themselves as well. I really like Overwatch 2 and it's current state of the game. But the community in the game makes me want to stop playing again. It's really sad if the community is worse than the company I hate.

You can try to insult at personal level if you want, but that does not change how the ingame community is. And Overwatch 2 ingame community is worse than Team Fortress 2, Paladins and even CS:GO. I have many hours on these games as well. It wouldn't be tragic, if I didn't like the game itself so much.

For Overwatch 2 or is that something not related to this? Any source you can point to or are you hallucinating? Just asking friendly, because many people tell stories in the internet without providing source. My guess is, it has nothing to do with Overwatch 2.

Yeah this isn't stuff that's exclusive to overwatch. Any competitive multiplayer game has these issues. Overwatch sucks because of what the company did to it. They expect us to pay the full amount that the first game cost, for TWO skins. Two skins for a single hero that you might not even get to play as someone can take it before you. It's predatory.

I'm still playing the game, bought it and have been on-and-off since OW1 days. Definitely the toxic community isn't exclusive to OW, and it's not like I'm complaining or anything but I definitely would appreciate it if they could iron out a couple of bugs for their Steam release. I very much like to keep all my games in 1 DRM, but I can't endorse OW on Steam as of yet. Blizzard really needs to sort out the way they handle problems first before thinking on how make that green buck. Just my honest opinion :/

I didn't say its exclusive to this community. But it is worse than Team Fortress 2, Paladins and CS:GO ingame community. And that is saying something. I'm not talking about the rants like those two above us, who talk about non ingame related things. I talk about the toxicity in the game. And that is the worst.

No. The ingame community when playing, Team Fortress 2 and CS:GO are much better than Paladins and Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2 being the worst. The most toxic community I have encountered on any online platform game. And I have played these for hundreds and thousands of hours since a decade.

I spent 10 years in the TF2 community and I spent some time in the overwatch community, and both communites want to think they're better than the other. They're both just as bad
