The only thing in here that I can guess was “abusive” was “monkey” .. which he was playing monkey. This is the same player I reported for being wildly toxic to us in chat. Every player in the lobby was in agreement him blaming supports was crazy as he did nothing but play solo. I have reported people for SLURS, heavy ass racism, straight up deranking accounts and typing that they are and not one message saying they were dealt with. But that above transcrip was worth a 2 week silence, first time action has been taken on the account.

The problem is that people think that the chat that they send you is the "main reason" why they banned you, that chat/reports probably were the trigger of the ban but probably your account was already marked to review after multiple incidents and reports.

if this is any indication on what chats they deem as abusive then, being reported multiple times by salty people is all it takes to get reported for literally nothing lmao

truly.. i see accounts that constantly do nothing but actively try to ruin the game, endorsement level 1, hurling slurs that would get you fired IRL and still somehow in games, yet this was the "worst" thing i said and it's a 2 week mute? ok..

What trigger the "ban" is the report not only what he wrote on the chat, he can also be banned from VC for harassment and we do not know it, he is only posting the reply from BlizzCS, I have a friend that gets banned from text chat after being truly toxic on text chat for like 2 weeks and after he said something that you can consider "not toxic" he gets banned, it is because he have a pattern on his behavior not because he "was toxic one time".

Countless players who have chosen to disable text and voice in game via the options.. have not only gotten abusive Chat punishments.. but also had appeals denied..

The ToS pertaining to "abusive chat" is worded in a way that's nondescript and subject to interpretation. Considering how blizzard enforces it the tos might as well say "all reports are valid"

I mean I go pistol only mercy, people get mad at me and get punished for it, but I don't get punished for provoking them...

Just be like me, after the last ban I got, I just disabled match and team chat, and then playing for the fun of it, people can communicate with me through comms, not gonna be bothered by people trying to bait me to be toxic if I'm not healing enough or whatever.
