I just got my account suspended for a month

The reason was basically "Chat Abusive", the context was the community of overwatch got truly toxic recently since there are that much playing the game I guess, and whenever you don't seem to hold up to the role you are playing your team mates mostly will start flaming and blaming you for their loss even if it's their fault most of the time, since this game system is obnoxious, unlike games like csgo where you can clutch 1 v 5 everyone, the game depends on your team as well.

if your team suck you will get rolled, however people can flame you with "tank diff/healer diff/dps diff" I recently started replying to that saying "your mom is diff" and that probably what got me banned for a month now, to be honest, I been looking for a reason to simply stop playing the game, because it was more like an addictive and lost it's fun elements since the "2" release.

Can't wait till they get all the actual steam toxic people, they really thought coming to steam is a great idea, well played Blizzard.

i had many bans, of all kinds mostly in OW1.
unfair bans.
when you play solo and you get matched with groups they will false report you if you don't do what they are telling you to do.

like i pick Hanzo and one of them want it " give me Hanzo " if you don't you will get 4 reports.
or when you pick Torb in attack and they want you to change " switch now " if you don't you will get 4 reports.
and i carried them to win they still report me.
they don't know Torb can work in attack he was underrated hero.

one time someone asked me to place Torb turret in one spot, and that person know nothing about Torb, the enemy Tracer is flanking us and the turret needed to be in hidden spot in the backline, and that person was asking me to change the location of my turret, or they will report me.
the whole group i think they were 4 or 5, yes back in OW1 days it was 6v6, we won and i done my part, still they reported me false reports.

even one time one guy said to his friends in voice chat to report me harassment voice chat reports because the game has auto ban for harassment reports, i wasn't even using voice chat, i said nothing in voice chat not a single word.
he was saying that in voice chat and i was listening he didn't care, they were harassing me and i was busy playing the game trying to win, and next day i got 7 days voice chat ban even tho i don't use voice chat for many reasons and my headphone Philips 9500 doesn't have a mic, still Blizzard banned me for misusing something i don't use.

i feel like your team is the problem and any report from your team is like 2x times the report from the enemy, if you are one and they are group you will get 3,4 reports.

you can appeal but it will take time, that's why i have 2 accounts.
and these problem mostly go away in gm, i feel like its only exist in master and diamond, so try your best to climb.
OW is a different game in gm, late night no one drunk in gm, but in master most of them are drunk and angry.

and let me tell you, the toxic ones who are the ones who can get you ban, who are the ones who make mass false reports. not only that but they will try to add you and chase you, and i learned how i keep myself calm and to control my emotions, one good thing this game taught me.

get 2 accounts, and don't smurf, be in your rank, you will be fine, and try not to use voice chat.

There are a lot of good things about Overwatch 2 that were not present in Overwatch 1. Like You can ping the location of opponent heroes with middle click. This helps so much to communicate the location of flankers without using Voice Chat, and the less You use the chat, the better to be honest. People will make fun of You for Your voice, Your gender (especially if female), often they do not even listen anyways and its 'I'm right you're wrong'.

Seeing stats has positive and negative effects. Its nice to see where is the issue in a match, by comparing both teams' tanks to each other, DPS to each other, and healers to each other. Like one of my recent games, their Mercy had more healing than both my healers combined. Its obviously a healer difference, and that's why we're losing. If i wanted to win this game so badly, i'd ask the healers to switch to heroes that are easier to play, for example to play Mercy instead of Baptiste. The downside is it can cause finger-pointing. But honestly, is it so mean and rude if someone said DPS difference, when their DPS has like 4k damage and Yours bellow 1k?

You need to get reported many times to get muted or banned. MANY times. There's A LOT of what you might have done wrong while playing. Or... at least what people thought of you. Probably got reported for not carrying the game.

OW2 is all about how good you are. If you're bad at playing, you're reported.

its hard to get a full account ban. I got my OG account banned last year after 3k hours played since launch. You get a lot of warnings. You get silenced, temp banned, etc. before a perma ban. The worst one was a month long silence where you can hear everyone and see chat but cant talk or type. Anyway, you 100% are bullshitting if you are trying to make it seem like you got a perma ban after one interaction.

I'm now at 1 month suspension, before I had a 1 week chat ban that was the very first one then came the 1 week suspension, after that 1 month suspension. So I guess next up is perma ban?

I don't think I mentioned it was one game/match, What I think was "wrong" or very offensive that people reported me saying is for the past few weeks, when anyone starts randomly flaming me in game and then whines in the match chat with "(role) diff" I reply "your mom is diff" which could mean anything negative or positive, but I think the general use of "your mom" in competitive game is forbidden, This is basically the first suspention ban I get in "2" in overwatch 1 I had a couple chat mutes in comp because I was simply being called things as throwing in voice chat and I would defend my self in the same tone of others, but yeah I get reported for it, they were a 2 weeks, and then 4 weeks chat mutes, mostly for calling others "Useless".

The game isn't worth it at this point anymore. I don't want to tell you to start trolling cus you might've thrown money into it. But you can mute the chat and shut off any communication in this game if you are sick with it. Or we can play together and I do the flaming for you I am aiming for a permaban anyway.

I had been playing Overwatch 1 since closed beta till it's closure. I was toxic for the most of it, but never got banned. Skill issue and git gud, i guess.

The only loss would be the time I spent in this game since like 2017 or so, I got the game as a gift as well in bnet, never bought any loot boxes, never bought any of their skins, the only money I actually spent was £15 discounted blizzard balance card from a store nearby.

I got the first and 2nd season battle passes with, the third and after I got them with the weekly credit you get from doing those awful challenges only to get a worthless 60 credit, I didn't bother getting the current pass as well because the whole "Zelda" sort of theme thing for a pass is hella cringe, and their mythic skins are just not that worth it.

I'm not even mad at this point honestly, I just been inhaling the copium that maybe that game will get better or have a better support and stuff, like I used to have tons of friends playing it back in the years, and I would even make full party groups with friends who used to play, none of them actually bothers now except one or two, and rarely they do, it was more like a good time killer if you want to do something to pass time, even when it's not that fun.

Yes and didn't expect anything from overwatch "2" and it produced nothing of value and broken promises.

You must be under the impression that anyone who plays a game ever can only say good things about it, I've played games I like and still harshly criticised parts of them but in a constructive manner and most of those issues were fixed with mods or devs listening.

Overwatch "2" though, I hope it stays in maintenance mode hell forever, provides no value and was redesigned just to part brainwashed fools from their money.
Oh and I'm calling it overwatch "2" because its literally the same game but with lootboxes removed to save face and get on the battlepass model. Enjoy playing your rehashed garbage but this time with a premium battle pass track you have to pay for every month, get money farmed idiot.
