I've been following all this Overwatch 2 review bombing mess, and not gonna lie, it's really bumming me out how ungrateful some of these 'fans' are.

Like, Blizz gave us this AAA completely free, and people are actually complaining? Like yes the shop has stuff to buy if you wanna support further development, big whoop, nothing new. No one's forcing extra purchases.

At the end of the day this is a AAA title they're offering for ZERO dollars.

The problem is, most of the fools here think the devs should work for free.

Deceiving people into thinking that they'll get a full PvE experience and then gut it internally half a year before telling the public doesn't deserve anything but the highest level of critique. What a disgusting tactic and in top of all that, it was the VERY REASON they started Overwatch 2 IN THE FIRST PLACE. Now they are bringing back gutted features from Overwatch 1 and call it an update? Just know that people bought this game before it became "free".

Well, if you think the game has problems, then play something else. You guys need to understand the idea of moving on. It's the same with the 'cancel culture'... If they don't like something, they 'cancel it' instead of moving on.

"Review bombing"? Is it really? Who decides that? It launched with critical panning and is reviewed negatively because it's 1) not a very good game to begin with; 2) greedy as hell; 3) took away what fans loved, aka OW1.

It's not a "review bomb", it's reviewing the game according to its merits. Which are few enough, thanks.

Wow! Okay first off I paid for overwatch—spent so many wonderful hours in it and then they wipe everything! On top of it they take away the free Loot boxes, take out one of my favorite characters, change what doesn’t need to be changed especially to the point now some players are just not as fun to play with and on top of it all—a royal screw you when it comes to lag fest—I used to always never have like very rare ever had any lag—now every game I join it’s been this way…

So everyone paid for something that they then turn around and give for free and don’t even let the ones who paid keep what they worked for in game—it all gets wiped, so they have to start over—yeah wtf!

if only it was just that, but yeah thats the worst thing they did. it mightve been, every article i read at the time just said it was blizzard, never mentioned any specific teams.
