Neither do I except when I know how a word is pronounced. In that case it's pretty easy to read :D

Draught is pronounced as 'draft'
Grimoire can be pronounced 3 different ways depending on how French or snobby you want to sound. Either 'Gri-more' for the more typical English pronounciation, or 'Grim-wa' for the original French pronounciation, or if you want to sound really posh it's 'Gri-móre', móre being said the same way as 'amore' from the Dean Martin song 'That's Amore':
