Using the pistol with rapier on Xbox one?

OK, so I looked it up and I'm finding all the answers for this question for pc users but can someone please tell me how I can use the pistol on the Xbox one? I've pressed every button on that controller and I have yet to see a pistol go off. Please help?

See your gamepad layout for "alt fire" bind. On PC it shows up by F1, there should be way to access it on console too.

Once Scorpio comes out with the extra button controller you should be ok.

for me its clicking the (R) Stick, when I switch to controller

Takes a decent machine to run vermintide properly, I take it for some the PS4 is a more viable experience. What a pain playing shooters on the controller but hey at least you can play on the couch. Everything has benefits and tradeoffs.

If you bind the keyboard to your legs and a little weight around your ... you know what I mean.. you can easily push the space button, without your fingers ^^ thats 11 strockes per .. wait what?

Thank you guys for the help. I've noticed the weapon special on the R stick but when I pressed it it didn't work. Turns out it was from being in the inn. When I did a mission it worked fine.
